band prac has officially started!
& i'm loving the saxtion more & more.
a bunch of fun-loving people.
looking forward to making music (& enjoying the process) with them. (:

sightread a few tough pieces today.
it was insane!!
especially this very interesting piece called 'in the spring, at the time when kings go off to war' by david holsinger.
there were singing parts, where sopranos & altos will go "wa-wa-wa".
then the guys will sing "ah-neh-mee-noo-moo" (some weird language)
everyone was pretty amused throughout.
tons of running notes with many accidentals too.

oh and guess what jason asked me just now.

fun aside, i was like dying throughout the prac.
mainly because of the fatigue from lack of sleep.
and my embouchure ached quite a bit too.
AHHH. pray i can cope with band & school man.

before band, my stress level was 80%.
now jump to 90% already.
fatigue level is way off the chart.

okay! back to pointillism!

meeting up with my two dears made me feel like i was back to my old self again.
there's no company as amazing as theirs in uni, really.
