tuesday was the best cny day for me. yeah. had classmates and bandmates coming over to my place, which was really fun cos it was the first time i invited saints to my home. my classmates came over to do our gp presentation believe it or not! yeah. wan leng's stomach and mine kept growling halfway. at least we completed our ppt slides then. YAY.

fortunately, the visitation by my fellow bandmates was a more relaxed one despite an irritating monster named General Paper occasionally nagging at the back of my mind. but my mind did try shooting daggers at it to exterminate it. pam thought my ahma was cute and vice versa. mwaha. and elissa! your, erm, inability to multitask is getting funnier. but i shall control my laughter for i am no better myself HAHA. we watched alot of teevee, Man's greatest invention?

in conclusion (oh my word and the monster attacks again!!), THANKS FOR COMING OVER. (:

[the mood changes]

as for today, i was musing over some stuff just now. what would have happened if i followed the footsteps of mrs teo and mr lim and went to njc instead?

i don't know for sure but i'm pretty certain about two things. firstly, i would definitely have opted to take AEP (H3 Art). secondly, i wouldn't have joined band. (and maybe, just maybe, i would have been a teenyweeny bit more diligent and motivated.)

but look at me now. i'm taking Art at H1 and i'm in sajcband. i'm in Science. oh do you know i initially wanted to take something like H2 Art History Bio and maybe H1 Lit? yeah. but there wasn't such a ridiculous subject combination. wait. it's not ridiculous at all! fyi V&C (aka SOVA) is actually a combination of Art, History and Literature.

so what am i doing now? have i made the right choice? afterall, it wasn't until recently when i finally made a clear decision on what and where i want to study after JC. and it has nothing to do with biochemmath. most importantly, what is Your plan for me?

dp told us what we CANNOT get in order to obtain a place in a local university. can i make it? so what i'm supposed to do is to get straight A's for the subjects i'm not going to take in the university i'm trying to get into, right? i'm starting to see the irony.

oh i'm sure about one thing though. i have no regrets joining sajcband. (: if someone were to ask me what i would choose between music and art, i would choose both. (because one is a subset of the other LOL)

this reminds me of a quote by our dear Wassily Kandinsky: "Colour is the key. The eye is the hammer. The soul is the piano with its many chords. The artist is the hand that, by touching this or that key, sets the soul vibrating automatically."

doing homework over chinese new year is so irritating. =(

almost stayed at home this morning to do homework instead of going visiting. but changed my mind cos it seemed quite rude. yeah. we visited a few old relatives at the kwong wai shiu hospital. nostalgic eh? reminded me of that cip with 4/14. but that's not the point.

the point is.. I FEEL SO SAD FOR THE PEOPLE THERE. =( ahhh. imagine being immobile and having to stare at the gloomy and dusty ceiling for most of the day. imagine having your spouse in a far far away room. so sad. so lonely. i was watching my grandma and suddenly noticed how much older she looks. and the sad thing is, they used to lead vibrant and robust lives like us many many years back!

life is so fragile, so transient. we gotta treasure our youth while it's still there. to think we've been taking it for granted while it's slowly slipping away from our grasp.

sigh. so maybe doing homework isn't that bad afterall. i guess it's something i'll never get to do when i'm an old lady. hurh. dot the old lady. can't imagine.

oh yes. happy lunar new year! and i miss you so.

happy valentine's day! (:

aka st patrick's day. aka friendship day.

i think it'll be really weird if "love" is really in the air. figuratively. you mean what, "love" is some sort of a particle that diffuses from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration? i wonder what will "love" smell like?

and thank you our dearest bio teachers for the most wonderful valentine's day gift we can ever receive - an exciting (in other words, hard) bio test! woots. we feel so loved. and WE LOVE BIO.

yeah right. thanks alot for all the stress you have given us. and thanks for ruining our weekend, our CHINESE NEW YEAR. damn. we know you're not chinese, but you didn't have to do that.

what a golden opportunity. and i'd probably have to miss it. honestly, to me, it's much more important than the stupid block tests. will it make or break my future? HAHA eunice! "eh daddy, if dorothy goes, can i go too?" lol. our parents need to talk la.

italyitalyitalyitalyitalyitalyitaly....

oh my word! everything's starting to look like plasmids to me. hula hoops, internet thingys. something is wrong with me! GASP.

hello!

erm. oops. feeling a bit out of touch here. hmmm.

oh. we had x-country on wed! (3 days after my mini food poisoning, which i shan't elaborate) it was super fun. i love east coast! (: crapped alot with shioks and elissa. shioks was saying that they shouldn't let the odacers be the road-marshallers. should let band people do, then we can do our individuals there. provide free entertainment ah. LOL.

ahhh and quite sad la. couldn't join my classmates to rollerblade after that. i really wanted to go. and if they're going again after cny celebrations and i have band again, i really dunno what to say already. not that i don't like band, but.. oh well. and my blading/cycling skills are getting rusty! =(

i think sophia and huansong very cute together. hit one! haha. today huansong did a very funny action. quite hard to explain here but it was hilarious!!

ooh! i saw charm in school today! i was so happy alright. I MISS YOU CHARM. wanted to go for the debate against HCI but.. yeah. at least i met her in the end. yayness.

can't wait for alumni concert. can't wait to hear FATE OF THE GODS! (: all-time favourite. sounds like some hawaiian pizza.

man i suddenly feel like eating pizza. but cannot la. my lips are in a terrible condition! it's like having band camp lips.. dry and painful! i even feel a coldsore developing AGAIN. i guess i'm gonna have to stick with coldsores for the rest of my life already. might as well just go marry my coldsore la. mrs coldsore. OUCH.

okay i crapped alot. tmr got band. bye bye! --> learnt from shioks! (: haha.
