i watched "the magic flute" yesterday night!
yeah the last opera mozart wrote before his death.
it's some metropolitan opera shown on the big screen at vivo gv max.
OPERA SIA.
my first!
this is the synopsis: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Magic_Flute

sadly it wasn't live. which would have been really ex.
and very far. (all the way at new york)
but it was cool nevertheless.

i loved the orchestra.
(i think i'm loving orchestra music more and more)
the level of coordination between the singers and the orchestra was amazing!
and the singers die die also must come in on time,
or else it'd have been super obvious.

but because it was a film of the opera, there were bound to be closeups of those singers.
and i thought it was quite turn-off.
they were not very goodlooking you see. (the superficial side of me heh)
and some didn't make proper eye contact!
like that sarastro! (chow yun fatt lookalike)
where got people sing halfway to someone then look elsewhere one.

but overall it was good la.
i feel so arty-farty watching the opera.
and the flute was in plastic!!
i was telling poon sekali can see saliva inside. hee.

anyway after that while waiting for a taxi there was this woman who puked.
probably some hangover after going to the st. james power station.
her aiming damn bad okay.
got plastic bag still puke all over the ground.
RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TAXI STAND.
she and her two croonies just left the smelly barfbag ON THE GROUND.
causing such a great gap and stinking up the whole place.
while the dustbin was just a few steps away.
many people were telling them to throw it away because it's their own rubbish.
but they just gave the bochap-i-am-right-you-are-wrong-so-shut-up look.
especially her 2 sidekicks, who were definitely not drunk.

wahlao. if they pangsai on the taxi stand they expect others to clear for them!?
aren't they like, let me see, DOGS?
they're really morally-hopeless pugs who were too proud for their own good.

ohyeah. in the end poon's mum went to get some security guards to tell them off.
but they still refused to budge.
in the end, they just hurried off the scene, leaving all the crap at the same place.
sigh. what irresponsible chickens.
and lousy security guards. what were they doing man!

rawr we should have snapped a photo.
then send to STOMP.
"UGLY SINGAPOREANS, INSIDE-OUT"
mwahaha so evil.
no la. i was just majorly pissed off at such attitude and injustice.
i think poon had to control me from lashing out at them.
oops violent me.
