block test one is overrrr. YAY. it totally sucked like a vacuum cleaner alright. i fell sick the day before the first paper. so sad la. and there wasn't enough time for bio and chem! 2hours only! how absurd. to think i actually studied quite hard this time. (for once) MSP here i come. oh gosh. which means less time for individuals! *frowns*

anyway my mometum for mugging/barreling/tanking is still around. i started math. after block tests, ironically. hurhur.

tell you something very cool. i met mr lim (my aep teacher) at the esplanade last night! haha. that's not the main point. the main point is, he was on his way to some artist book launch at some art cafe on the 1st floor. so poon and i went to kaypoh around and browsed through the free copy. and guess what. we found out that it was actually supposed to be a private book launch, and almost all the contemporary singapore artists in the book were around us! AND I TALKED TO YE SHUFANG AND LEE WEN! AHHHH. those artists in my notes! what a pity amanda heng and tang da wu were absent!!

yeah. you can guess how excited i was. and thanks to mr lim and his friend jennifer, i got a free copy of the book too! YAYY. (but i'm supposed to give it to the school) haha. we went around asking artists for their signatures. talked to a few of them as well. they were really friendly and they didn't put on any airs. some were quite eccentric. like lee wen, who went "chiam see tong!" when we told him we were from sajc. SO COOL LA. talked to this la-salle guy about their school. if only i have the money.

awww. must really thank mr lim and jennifer. what a rare and special day. and thanks poon for everything! (: what an arty-farty day.

listening to ammerland. gosh i love it so much.

on a sadder note, i'm not allowed to go to italy because we can't afford it. when my dad told me i was so sad i hid in my room and cried really hard. i really wanted to go. this opportunity was like a dream came true. but i guess life goes on. i just have to accept the fact that the venice biennale is not within my grasp anymore.

goodbye milan, goodbye florence, goodbye venice, goodbye rome.
