it will remain as the most magical day/night ever in my life. i have no idea how much it means to the rest, but it really means SO MUCH to me. it was my first ever concert, and i got to perform at the esplanade, which made it even more special for me. the concert ended off in a meaningful note - a sacred suite. boy it was my best performance of that piece that night (no wrong notes!) and i could practically feel my emotions surging throughout the entire finale.

i was so emotional that night please. all the fear, anxiety, excitement, sadness, undescribable emotions. i cried thrice. first time was when i hugged eunice before she had to go onstage for school hymn. second time was when i was listening to starship backstage. kudos to martin and jeremy for their saxophone soli! it was so.. moving. words can't describe how i felt then. you just gotta be at the right place, listening to the right music, at the right time.

and well, third time was when we were back in school, at the school track after our farewell item for the j2s, when each of us took turns to say something to the saxtion. i was so happy shuzk meng joined us. as eef said, when words fail, music speaks. so yi siong played "auld lang syne" with the alto sax and it was damn sad! even eef teared. and so did yi siong himself. i guess all of us felt something then.

yeah. and the kuku saxtion decided to skip around the track together one last time. imagine a row of 9 people (mostly still in blazers) skipping round the track like nobody's business. i took off my court shoes and it was such amazing feet therapy.

i've so much to express to the saxtion, thoughts and feelings cooped inside since the beginning. but i dont know how to say it. and i don't know what exactly to say. and i don't have the music now to speak my mind. maybe for now, i'll just say that i'm gonna miss the j2s so much. it's true okay. seriously i wouldn't have been here without them. the concert was like my first and last concert with them. sigh.

i thank God for such a wonderful concert, though not perfect, but definitely successful. thank God for all the great memories.
