hmmm i'm back from camp and i'm gonna write about it (:

it was really nice to see everyone having fun in their own way, from the youngest to the oldest, bonding within their little cliques or games groups OR with people they weren't that close to.

human monopoly wasn't that tiring, in fact quite slack though sometimes we had to chiong to our destinations. i like my group (: talked to all of them. and we kept getting goal-jail-chance. then get alot of $. everytime we rolled the dice the younger guys would try to 'cheat' and get the number we want, which made donny and the older ones quite exasperated. but we had fun lar. i learnt a few things about my groupmates:

cj seriously loves hello kitty to bits.
meixin wants to take aep instead of mep.
marc needs to wear braces
richard applied for dsa to ri and hci (tsk)
and many more!

yar and the bbq was okay. as what tp shared, it was nice to see the younger ones being enthu and doing stuff. julien has a jie ban ren! but we wasted alot of chicken wings, that was the problem haha.

oh and i must say that the prayer walk at night was really meaningful. before that we watched parts of "passion of the Christ". the 1st station was jasper's and we nailed a nail to a wooden cross, which represented nailing our sins to Jesus, before confessing our sins in prayer.

the 4th one was my brother's. and boy the water gates just burst lar. he burnt shreds of paper that represented the burning of the souls of our non-believing friends in hell if they did not accept the salvation. jiaen and i were super reluctant to throw the 2nd piece in and he said he was on the verge of tears. it was just too painful. that was why it spurred us to spread the gospel more.

then the last one was donny's. he told us to take off our shoes and slippers and stand in a row according to our age. we had to wash the feet of the one younger than us. since i was the oldest, no one washed mine. at first i was quite gekked cos i thought what and took off my slippers. but xin an was saying that she felt really guilty when her feet were washed. yar. the older ones had to serve the younger ones. like how Jesus showed an example by washing His disciples' feet.

basically the whole walk was impactful to me, personally. from sins to salvation to service.

hmmm. oh xin an and i were the first girls to shower. like last year!! and engyeow was telling us that in my brother's station he was very serious at first. but he suddenly spotted 2 potatoes in the bbq fire and started laughing. hahaha. then had worship again.

i just slacked and stoned around everywhere. and had supper. the night passed by very slowly. at around 3 plus, by yiheng's invitation, a whole bunch of us went conference room to watch 'i do i do'. laughed like mad. "supper" became "suffer"! hilarious. went to sleep at around 5.

overall this camp was good. there wasn't only fun and laughter, but also messages that made an impact on us. thank God for it.

happy birthday julien, cowen and of course lianeee!!

and YOU. God wants to be your friend. NOW! (:
